McGolrick Earth Day Festival will kick off with an early-morning forest bathing session with artist Beatrice Wolert. Join Friends of McGolrick alongside NYC Parks Stewardship for a Winter Tree ID Walk.
Without their leaves, trees make you slow down and really look. We’ll learn how to spot the clues hiding in plain sight, from bark texture and branching patterns to buds and silhouettes. You’ll leave knowing your London planes from your red buds and seeing the park a little differently for the rest of the season.
All ages welcome. Dress warm, wear sturdy shoes, and bring your curiosity. Winter is when the trees tell their quiet stories. For more info, please click here!
